About This Event

An evening ramble celebrating the folklore, customs and traditions of Midsummer.

Led by writer, walking artist and psychogeographer Sonia Overall.

Welcome refreshments at the White Mill – doors open 7pm.

An informal ramble along hedgerows and through nature-friendly spaces, exploring Midsummer customs and seasonal plant lore. – Readings, song and light-hearted ritual actions.

Some silent walking and listening.

Strawberries and seasonal sundowners on our return to welcome in the solstice, drawing on flavours of summer hedgerow and garden.

A themed goody bag from Creepy Moon and a tiny folk tract to walk with and take home.

Tickets for the folk walk are limited and must be booked in advance.

Suitable for ages 16+.

This folk walk is hosted by Folk Lore Kent.

Ticket price includes a donation to the work of The White Mill Rural Heritage Centre.
