NSSA National Youth Regatta 2026

Downs Sailing Club are hosting the NSSA National Youth Regatta 2026 from 20th July to 24th July, welcoming youth sailing teams from across the UK to Deal for a week of youth sailing and community activity along the seafront.
Organised by the National Schools Sailing Association in association with the Kent Schools Sailing Association, and supported by headline sponsor Pinnell & Bax, the regatta is a long-established event in the national schools sailing calendar. Racing will take place just offshore, with boats visible from Deal’s beach and promenade throughout the week.
The Regatta will consist of a race series on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Racing will take place over four courses for Toppers, ILCA/Laser, Handicap and Regatta fleet reserved for young sailors who are competing away from their home waters for the first time.
Wednesday’s special programme will include racing for the prestigious Mount Haes Trophy in Melges 15 provided by Melges UK, the Single – handed race sailed in Toppers and an Allcomers Pursuit race.
